GanzhiDiary ("we", "our", or "the App") is a personal wellness journal based on the Chinese traditional calendar and five-element system. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our application.
By default, all data you enter into GanzhiDiary — including daily scores, notes, and preferences — is stored locally on your device, and we do not receive or see it.
GanzhiDiary also offers an optional account and sync feature. If you choose to create an account, your diary entries (daily scores and notes) and your email address are securely transmitted to and stored on our behalf by our data processor, Supabase, so that your entries can sync across your devices. Creating an account is not required to use the App — all core journaling features work fully offline without one.
If you do not create an account, GanzhiDiary does not collect any personal information — your data stays on your device.

If you make a purchase within the App, our payment processing partner, RevenueCat, receives your app-generated user ID and purchase/transaction details in order to validate and record the purchase. RevenueCat does not receive your diary entries or notes.
We do not collect location data, device advertising identifiers, usage analytics, or access your photos or contacts.

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
GanzhiDiary's core journaling features work fully offline and do not require an internet connection. An internet connection is required only if you choose to sign in, sync your entries across devices, or make a purchase.
GanzhiDiary is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will delete it.
If you have not created an account, you can delete your data at any time by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App — no data is retained on any server.
If you have created an account, you can delete your locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the App. To request deletion of your account and the data associated with it on our servers (Supabase), please email us at the address below with the subject line "Delete my account" from the email address associated with your account. We will process account and data deletion requests within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
